Proteas were one of my mums favorite flowers. These stunning beauties remind me of my childhood and of living in Cape Town and hiking up Muizenberg Mountain. 

These candlestick holders were made with a new direction in mind - african inspired pottery pieces. 

The next step is to glaze the pieces and do the final firing!
