A jug is a must-have in a home. A handmade hand-painted jug is precious! I made the white water jug with sugar bowl and milk jug at pottery class before the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. The pieces lay for more than a year on the shelf while we were all in lockdown. They survived due to Heleen, the pottery teacher, taking special care of then in my abscence. The pieces remian my most favorite peices; possibly because they outlived the pandemic, and because I love white, and antiquated looking pottery! These pieces are for sale only to someone who can promise to appreciate them! The blue jugs were made at class using an old lace fabric. One jug has already been sold; its partner all alone! The orange jugs were bisques bought and handpainted using a stencil. |
